AlbaBaby began at home in the living room
AlbaBaby kid's clothing is a Danish brand created by designer Majken B. Banke, whose goal was to create unique kid's clothing for her daughter, Alberta. Majken, originally a trained architect, started at home in her own living room making a small, handmade production of overalls, and later dresses.
When she became pregnant with twins, the production of the kid's clothes was immediately shelved. However, the demand for the unique retro design was so great that in 2010, Majken founded AlbaBaby. That same year, AlbaBaby kid's clothing could be found on the cover of Spanish Vogue, and is now a well-established, worldwide kid's clothing brand.
The product range continues to expand and now includes dresses, blouses, pants, leggings, jumpers, underwear, hats and vests.
