Returns - Return products to Kids-world

As a consumer, you have a 30 days right of cancellation once you receive the items from us.

How to return items:

  1. Register your returning items:
    In order to register your returning items you must send us an e-mail at customerservice@kids-world.com with your order number and the 5 digit item number (ex. AB123) for the products you want to return. Note: You must send the returned goods within 14 days of you informing us.
  2. Fill out the return form:
    The return form is placed on the delivery note that came with your order. The return form must be filled out according to the instructions and sent back with the return package. A new standard return form can be found and printed here.
  3. Reuse the original package:
    All items must be returned in mint condition and original package. Stickers and tags must remain on the products. The products must not show signs of usage, be stained or smell incorrectly.
  4. 4. Pack the items and enclose the return form:
    Send the completed return form together with the items you want to return. Please reuse our original packaging or pack the items in a new bag/box.
  5. Send the package to our address
    You have to pay any shipping cost related to your return and send the package to our address*. Be careful to place the new return label on top of the old shipping label**.

  6. Hand in your package to your local distribution center, as shown on the return label. Do not forget to get a receipt
    When you submit the return shipment to the distributor, you will receive a return receipt, which you must keep until you have received your refund.

*We do not accept COD parcels, and we are not able to pick up parcels sent without delivery.
**DO NOT attach either the return label or the delivery note/return note directly to the original packaging of the product (the shoebox, the cardboard box belonging to the product, the plastic the product was wrapped in, etc.)

Note: You can combine products from different orders in one return shipment - however, you must include a filled-in return formfor each of the orders.

 

Get your money back
Once we have processed your return, you will receive a notification per email stating we have received your returned goods and handled your request to return.

  • As you are held responsible for the return shipment, we recommend that you get a receipt when handing it in.

Do you wish to exchange an item to another one?

If you want to exchange an item to another one, you have to return it to us. If you are returning the items from Denmark, you can use our return label as mentioned above. When your returned items have been received and handled, you will be credited for the goods, and immediately you can place an order on the product you want instead.

This procedure always applies when you want to exchange a product with another one – even when you want the same product only in another size.

Do you want to return a gift?

In case that you have received a gift purchased from us that you wish to return, simply:

  • Fill out our return form.
  • Please add the donor's phone number/address so we can find the order in our system.
  • Indicate the order id (if you know this).
  • Send it to our address according to the instructions above.

Complaint

A 24-month right of complaint is granted in accordance with the Danish Purchasing Act's rules for purchases of goods. This means that you can either get the item repaired, exchanged, the money back, or refusal in the price, depending on the specific situation. Any damage caused by the customer is not covered by the complaint.

A complaint concerning errors and omissions must be notified to Kids-world in a timely manner after you discover the error. Here, two months are considered reasonable.

How do I proceed?
As a start, send us an email with a description of the problem/error and attach at least 2 pictures. One of the error and one of the whole product. Then we can assess the problem as well as the general condition of the product.

We refund reasonable shipping costs if the complaint is justified. Contact us at customerservice@kids-world.com BEFORE returning goods in order for us to correct the problem. If we want a defective item returned, we will send you a return label by email.

We will send an email when you complain.

If you have submitted an item for withdrawal or complaint, you will always receive an email when we have received the item. The email will give you information about the further process of processing your withdrawal/complaint.
