The Konges Sløjd dress has a boat neckline with elastic at the sides, so it is possible to put the dress down around the shoulders. It has short puff sleeves with a single layer of tulle and with narrow elastic edges at the bottom, which tightens the sleeves. The Dress is cut at the waist, to give the skirt more width. The Dress consists of a layer of cotton on the inside and two layers of tulle on the outside, so the dress is not transparent.
