Quiksilver - cool kids' clothes in surf style
Quiksilver produces the coolest and most comfortable kids clothes in a nice surfer style that is inspired by the adult collections.
The logo for Quiksilver is a wave with a mountain and the logo has become a marker of innovation. Since 1969, Quiksilver has been synonymous with quality and performance. Quiksilver was created on the beach and the concept has always been to combine fashion with function for anyone who wants an active lifestyle.
Kids clothing represents a relaxed lifestyle and over the years Quiksilver has become much more than just a clothing company. They have deep roots in outdoor sports and all products from Quiksilver have a strong connection to sports.
Quiksilver's Story
In 1969, Alan Green and John Law started making their own surf shorts in the garage after they found a niché on the market. Together they wanted to build a brand that stood for innovation, pride, trust, and that has unlimited potential.
Their surf shorts quickly became extremely popular and there was a great demand for the shorts. It did not take long before you could buy Quiksilver anywhere in Australia and all of the 70's best surfers wore quiksilver surf shorts.
The name Quiksilver was created when Alan Green's wife Barbara read a novel and found the word "Quiksilver". Quiksilver is described as somewhat fluid, adaptable, and transformative which she thought sounded appropriate in relation to what Alan was trying to create through the company. The word Quiksilver comes from the old adage of turning base metals into gold.

Tips for buying Quiksilver kids clothing
If your little one is still growing, it can sometimes be a good idea to buy kids in a size up. It is not comfortable to wear clothes that are too small, and this applies to Quiksilver kids clothes as well as clothes from any other brand.
It is therefore common practice for parents to buy kids clothes in a size up such as a size 56 for a little one wearing a size 50.
