The Maxi-Cosi car seat can be used by both infants, toddlers and slightly older kids, and is therefore almost 3 chairs in one. The car seat can be turned, and it can be done with just one hand. From the kid is 15 months or 76 cm or weighs 18 kg, the kid can sit forward-facing. However, it is recommended that the kid sits in a rear-facing car seat for as long as possible. The car seat is mounted on the included base with ISOFIX, and for kids from 100 cm and up, you must use both ISOFIX and the car's 3-point seat belt. The car seat's base has an adjustable leg, which supports against the bottom of the car, so that the car seat is stable, and it is used until the kid is 100 cm.
Kids up to 100 cm are fastened with the car seat's 5-point harness with padded shoulder straps. When the kid is 100 cm, it can be fastened with the car's 3-point seat belt. A baby insert is included, which fits tightly and protectively around the infant, and when the kid is 75 cm, it can simply be removed.
With a button on the back, you can easily adjust the height of the back, the straps and the headrest. The car seat can be tilted into a resting position with 5 settings in both forward-facing and rear-facing positions, so that the kid sits slightly back, but still nice and safe.
The shell of the car seat is made of shock-absorbing flamingo, so that the energy in the event of a collision is minimized and the kid is well protected. For extra protection, G-CELL Side Impact Technology is built into the sides, which reduces the force of a side collision.
The cover on the chair can be removed and washed in the machine.
