The history of Ailefo

Ailefo is manufactured in Bornholm and it was the first brand to introduce organic dough in Europe.

The founder, Christiane, wanted to create a product that was harmless for her daughter to play with and which also was not harmful for the environment. Christiane is a nurse and she has a broad knowledge of allergies in kids. Therefore, she also wanted the product to be as hypoallergenic as possible.

Together with her daughter, Christiane tested many different mixtures before coming up with the perfect blend. She then founded Ailefo to share the product she made with love.

Ailefo's ecological model was released in 2016 and by 2017 they received the award for ''Business of the Year'" from Bornholm's Erhvervsservice.
