The history of Ailefo

Ailefo is manufactured in Bornholm and it was the first brand to introduce organic dough in Europe.

The founder, Christiane, wanted to create a product that was harmless for her daughter to play with and which also was not harmful for the environment. Christiane is a nurse and she has a broad knowledge of allergies in kids. Therefore, she also wanted the product to be as hypoallergenic as possible.�

Together with her daughter, Christiane tested many different mixtures before coming up with the perfect blend. She then founded Ailefo to share the product she made with love.�

Ailefo's ecological model was released in 2016 and by 2017 they received the award for ''Business of the Year'" from Bornholm's Erhvervsservice.
