Tamagotchi looks like an egg with a little screen, and with the three buttons you have to take care of the virtual pet. It needs to be looked after and cared for, and gradually it grows from egg to adult. Which of the 7 adults it develops into depends on how you have treated your Tamagotchi.
Generation 1 has the same features as generation 2, but the game is different.
