Accessibility Statement
Accessibility for everyone is fundamental to Kids-world, as we believe that everyone should have equal access to a shopping experience without problems or limitations. In our efforts to increase accessibility for all users, this is a core part of our mission in the development of our platforms.
Our process for improving accessibility
We aim to cover every aspect when it comes to improving accessibility. That is why accessibility is considered throughout our entire development process—both the technical aspects and the design of our platforms—so that we continuously strengthen accessibility.
Therefore, we place great emphasis on continually learning about new ways to improve accessibility and implementing them, so that theory also becomes practice. This also includes internal and external evaluations of our progress toward meeting the current accessibility requirements.
Compliance with accessibility standards
At Kids-world, we actively work to comply with the European Accessibility Act (EAA) and the European standard EN 301 549, as well as the international guidelines of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA.
Although we work hard and dedicatedly to meet all these standards, we are not quite there yet. As a user, you may therefore still encounter content on our platforms that does not yet meet these accessibility standards.

Known limitations and improvements
While we strive to ensure that our webshop meets applicable accessibility requirements and user expectations, we are aware that certain areas do not yet fully meet our objectives.
We have identified a number of areas with potential for improvement, which are included in our ongoing evaluation and prioritisation of accessibility initiatives:
- Audio version of the description under “About Kids-world”
- Audio version of the user guide in our FAQ
- Audio version of the accessibility statement
- Keyboard navigation to access the fields so it is possible to change a product’s size
- Reading out the correct sizes (shoes and clothing)
- Ability to use the filter so that filter values are announced as buttons by the screen reader
- Optimizing the chat function so it provides information about accessibility
