Thermometer for kids and babies
A thermometer at home is a must-have when you need to check if your kid has a fever. There are many different types of thermometers. At Kids-world, we have a wide selection of them.
It depends on the age of your kid which type of thermometer you should choose. The most common type is digital. This type of thermometer can be used on kids of all ages. They are easy to use and are usually also the cheapest choice.
If your kid is under 5 years old, you can use a digital thermometer to measure the temperature under their arm. If they are older than 5 years, you can try to measure the temperature in their mouth if they are cooperative. As a rule, the thermometer must sit for at least 2 minutes.
A reliable thermometer for home use can keep track of everyone in the family's temperature and detect any infections. It is not always easy for kids to communicate what is wrong when they are unwell, so a thermometer is an important tool to have for you to monitor kid's health.
The right thermometer for your family is one that everyone will be comfortable using. With a thermometer and a good family doctor, your kid is in good hands when they are unwell.
Ear thermometer for kids and babies
Electronic ear thermometers are slightly more expensive and less accurate when used on small babies. However, there are also many advantages to them. They measure quickly and accurately if used correctly. They are also good to use for older kids.
Always remember to read the instructions on your new thermometer to learn how to turn it on and read the temperature correctly. You must be careful when inserting the ear thermometer. It should not be pushed into the ear canal, only into the entrance of the ear.
