The Griggs family in England saw an advertisement for the shoes the two made and the family began to collaborate with them. The boots have a unique fit with the well-known yellow seams, and it was in the 1960s that the first 1460 Dr. Martens boots were introduced to the market.
Since then, they have been an icon of punk and street culture. They have been hugely trendy and popular over many decades. An incredible number of amazing music icons have worn the shoes and the shoes are still extremely popular and modern.
