BPA stands for bisphenol A which is a substance that can be found in the plastic-type polycarbonate and the lacquer used on the inside of cans. Phthalates in rubber boots
Phthalates are a group of substances whose primary use in industry is to make plastics soft and pliable. Most phthalates are suspected to be endocrine disruptors, but not all of them.

PAHs are contaminants in raw materials used on, among other things, car seats, clothes and rubber boots.
How to maintain kids' rubber boots

Fortunately, there is a smart, inexpensive and easy way to maintain rubber boots made of natural rubber. If you lubricate the rubber boots in brown soap, the rubber will be kept flexible and it will not crack.
Natural rubber contains oils that evaporate just as slowly, and to keep the material supple, it is necessary to add a little extra lubrication.
