Fun LEGO® Super Mario set consisting of 231 LEGO® bricks, which can be assembled into an interactive LEGO® track with Nintendo's world-famous, red and blue plumber. This set is the basic one in the LEGO® Super Mario series and is called "Adventure with Mario".
With the LEGO® Super Mario set, the popular levels from the Super Mario video games are brought into the real world, where they are built with LEGO® bricks. Once the course is built, the Mario figure must fight his way through from the starting tube to the goalpost by defeating enemies, overcoming obstacles and jumping on the well-known blocks to collect coins.
In this set, one has to jump on LEGO® planets, cloud platforms and blocks, as well as to pass by the Goomba figure and Bowser Jr.
The Mario figure itself has colour sensors in it, so it can recognize the seven action blocks in the set, which triggers different reactions. There are LCD screens in Mario's eyes, mouth and stomach, and these show over 100 different reactions that come instantly. A speaker is also included, which plays iconic sounds and music from the Nintendo games.
The LEGO® Super Mario set can be assembled in many different ways, and there is plenty of inspiration to be found in the free LEGO® Super Mario app, which contains building instructions, ideas for fun, creative ways to play and much more. The Mario character has Bluetooth and can thus communicate with the app that keeps track of your high score.
The LEGO® Super Mario set can be put together with many different expansion sets, making the course bigger, more fun and more challenging. The Mario character can also be styled by purchasing power packs that even trigger bonuses on the court.
