The Katvig swim top has a UV protection factor of UV60 certified by the Danish Technological Institute with UV 801, which both takes into account the use and washing of the product etc. The fabric protects against the sun's dangerous rays where it covers the skin. NOTE! There is a silver print with the text "UV30". It is a misprint from Katvig, and the correct UV value is UV60 , as the including sign indicates.
