The Philips Avent the baby monitor features DECT technology, which provides crystal-clear sound and a 100% secure and private connection. You can therefore be sure that you are the only one listening in. This guarantees that there will be no interference from others transmitting devices.
The baby monitor has an ECO mode that automatically reduces sound transmission and increases battery life. This means that the closer you are to kid, the less power is needed to achieve a perfect connection.
The convenient, rechargeable parent unit offers greater flexibility with up to 24 hours of monitoring before needing to be recharged. It has an indoor range of up to 50 meters and an outdoor range of up to 330 meters.
The unit has 3 sound level indicators and indicates the sound level in the child's room, even when the parent unit is muted. With the connection indicator, you always know when the alarm is in range and connected. The parent unit will notify you when it is out of range or when the power level is low.
The baby unit can play 5 relaxing lullabies and has a night lamp with a warm, soothing light to help kid fall asleep. But sometimes all your baby needs is to hear your soothing voice. The baby monitor has a feature that lets you talk to your baby from anywhere in the house.
You can also keep an eye on the temperature and indoor climate in the children's room by setting a user-defined alarm if the temperature changes.
NOTE: It is recommended that rechargeable batteries be used in the parent unit. The parent unit should not be left on charge continuously as this will damage the batteries. It is recommended that good quality alkaline batteries be used in the baby unit as they will drain the alarm.
