The Hummel shell jacket has a removable hood that fastens around the high collar with push buttons. The hood's face opening has elastic inserts on the sides.

In front at the waist there is a practical calf detail. There are two slanted pockets on the front, the openings of which are hidden by a fold. The right pocket has a zipper. The waist opening has an internally adjustable elastic edge.
The Hummel shell jacket is without padding, and inside it has a smooth-woven lining. Just below the outer layer, the shell jacket has a hummelTEX membrane, which together with the Bionic Finish Eco coating forms a waterproof and breathable shield.
