The Faber-Castell markers are perfect for light, dark and coloured paper as well as smooth surfaces such as glass, metal and plastic. The colours do not smudge and they can even become waterproof by setting them in the oven at 160 degrees, which is convenient if you draw on a homemade mug, bowl or the like. The colours are water-based and do not seep through paper. The colours do not smell and it is not necessary to shake the markers to bring out the colour.
